Hanwha Aerospace and Milrem Robotics unite to advance autonomous defense technology and global market reach

Hanwha Aerospace and Milrem Robotics have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the development and global market expansion of robotic combat vehicles (RCVs) and other ground robotic systems. By combining their expertise, the two companies aim to enhance vehicle capabilities to support mechanized units effectively.
“As Hanwha grows globally, we seek to apply our technology, industrial strengths, and agility to partner with innovative companies in addressing emergent requirements and evolving combat environments. This collaboration on robotic and autonomous combat systems leverages the expertise and capabilities from Milrem Robotics and Hanwha Aerospace,” said Michael Coulter, incoming President and CEO at Hanwha Global Defense, overseeing aerospace and defense businesses for Hanwha Aerospace and other companies.

“Our collaboration with Hanwha aims to accelerate the development of cutting-edge robotic solutions that meet the evolving needs of modern armed forces, combining Milrem Robotics' innovative technologies with Hanwha's extensive experience in defense systems,” said Kuldar Väärsi, CEO of Milrem Robotics.
Hanwha Aerospace and Milrem Robotics will jointly execute global marketing campaigns to promote their RCVs and other ground robotics solutions. By leveraging their respective networks and market knowledge, both companies will work to expand the reach and adoption of their advanced robotic solutions across global markets.
